The JISC (who sound as if they ought to be an alien race, from EE "Doc" Smith or Doctor Who) have had an animation produced that does a pretty good job of explaining the principles behind what I do during the day.

It's not going to help you set up your own Shibboleth Entity, but it does explain why you might want to.

Hadn't heard of Shibboleth, will have to dig when I've a bit more time; really a big fan of distributed ID schemes, I like making comments and 'proving' I am the writer of said journal or owner of said site.
