Right. Just off to get tickets to get to Stonehenge on Thursday (Via London on Wednesday) and for my European jaunt the week after...
I'll be stewarding (if all goes well) at Stonehenge (we really need more people, but it may be a bit late), and the next week's trip is something I've been promising myself for (literally) decades. So far the plan is to try and get to Roskilde festival in Denmark, the European SF con in the Czech Republic and as many other interesting goings-on as seem to be happening (Brittany would be interesting, as would Barcelona, but I fear a weekend in Berlin may be out 'cos of serious overcrowding and lateness).
Of course, it'll probably all go horribly wrong, and I'll come back with my railcard half-used, but there you go. And at least I'll be able to stop feeling jealous of the folk who did manage to do the inter-rail thing.
