Off at last

What a morning. I think I managed to get all my stuff together -- there seems to be more than is quite reasonable, but there's no time to do a selective unpack. And I've not written down the phone numbers for card cancellation and things (or my travellers' cheque numbers). My train leaves in about forty minutes, so I guess I'd better quit this and head South.

Should anyone reading this be on for a beverage or two in London tonight, my mobile number is on my CV, and I'll be hitting Euston at about five (with a deadline of getting my stuff to a hostel in Waterloo of about seven).

I've text messaged Julie in case she has time to meet you for a drink. Apparently she has some friends in London who may be staying here at short notice.... And no I'm too busy to come in to town for a drink. Sorry Steve.

Cheers for that. I ended up meeting up with the dev team from my last job and a few other reprobates, finishing up in the Cro Bar (beside Foyles) until rather early this morning. Still, it should help me sleep on the train tonight!
