Off to dump luggage at Berlin Ostbahnhof, and then do final touristy stuff before catching night train to the ´Dam. Yesterday was a lot of wandering around closed museums, a shrouded Brandenburg Gate (the Silent Room was good, though) and the TV Tower...
No plans for after that, yet, except that it will involve some countryside, a war memorial (there´s one at Thiepval Wood on the Somme that´s built as a replica of a folly near where I grew up) and maybe find a festival for the weekend to justify lumping my tent around with me...
